Before You Register

A little preparation makes a big difference. Sellers who gather their photos, work samples, and key details before they start build stronger profiles and finish in one sitting. Here is what to have ready — it only takes a few minutes to review.

What to Gather Before You Begin

Materials

A professional headshot — clear face, clean background, good lighting
Your mobile number — it verifies your account by SMS and becomes the number clients use to WhatsApp or call you
The email you sign up with — it becomes your contact email for clients, and receives your verification code if you register with email and password (Google sign-up confirms it for you)
3–5 examples of your best work for your portfolio
Social profile links you want to show (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and similar)
Certification names and dates, if you have any
Past employers or clients, your role, and rough dates

Decisions to Make

Your main category — Construction & Home Services, Events & Entertainment, or Business & Consulting (you pick this once; it is fixed after you register)
Up to 6 skills — the ones you most want to be hired for
Which pricing model fits your work: one-time packages, an hourly rate, or monthly
Your package names and prices
The days and hours you are available

Time Estimate

Account setup and verificationabout 5 minutes
Building your profile (the 12 steps)20–35 minutes
Total25–40 minutes

Most of the profile steps are optional, so you can move quickly and come back to polish later. The more you bring with you, the faster it goes.

Best Practice

Try to finish in one focused session. Your progress saves at every step, so you can stop and pick up where you left off — but building it in one go keeps your profile consistent and stops half-finished sections from slipping past you.

Important

Use a mobile number, not a landline. Vendoralia sends your verification code by SMS, and that same number is what clients tap to WhatsApp or call you — so make sure it is one you actually use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to pay anything to register?

No. Creating your account and building your full profile is free, and your first 3 months are free too. You only start paying once the trial ends, to keep your profile listed and visible to buyers.

Can I save my progress and come back later?

Yes. Every step saves the moment you submit it, so you can leave the registration flow and continue right where you stopped.

What if I don't have a portfolio yet?

The portfolio step is optional, so you can register without it — but it's one of the first things buyers look at, and an empty portfolio makes you a harder sell. If you don't have client work to show yet, create two or three sample pieces: the kind of work you want to be hired for, even if you made it for practice.

Can I edit my profile after registration?

Yes. Once you're registered, you can update every section anytime from your profile editor. The one exception is your category — it is locked after registration (your skills stay fully editable). If you genuinely need a different category, reach out through our /contact page and we will reset it for you.
