Editing Your Profile
Your profile is not a one-time submission. The sellers who perform best on Vendoralia treat their profile as a living document — something they return to, refine, and update as their work evolves.
How to Access the Profile Editor
Go to /profile while logged in to your account. The editor gives you access to every section of your profile in one place. Make as many edits as you like across the different sections, then click Save at the bottom — one save applies all of your changes at once. Your live profile updates immediately, with no re-approval process.
What to Update and When
| Section | When to update |
|---|---|
| Service Information | If your specialty shifts or you want to rewrite your description |
| Personal Information | If your photo is outdated or your bio no longer represents you |
| Skills | If your core offerings have changed |
| Work Experience | When you complete significant new projects or roles |
| Certifications | When you obtain a new certification |
| Social Links | When you change platforms or your accounts change |
| Availability | Whenever your working hours or capacity changes |
| Portfolio | Add new work regularly; remove outdated entries |
| Cover Photos | Update seasonally or when you do stronger work |
| FAQs | When you notice recurring questions buyers ask you |
| Pricing | At least once a year; more often as your market position strengthens |
A Maintenance Rhythm That Works
Monthly
Review your availability and confirm it still reflects your actual schedule. Check if any new portfolio work is ready to add.
Quarterly
Read your bio and service description as a buyer would. Add any new experience, certifications, or portfolio items from the past 3 months.
Annually
Full profile review. Update your photo if it is more than 2 years old. Revisit pricing. Remove outdated experience or portfolio items. Run the Quality Checklist.
Best Practice
After completing a strong client project, add it to your portfolio within a week while the details are fresh. If you receive the same question from multiple buyers that is not in your FAQs — add it.
Important
Your category is the one thing you cannot change here. It is locked once you finish registering, so the reviews and search position you build always stay tied to the work you actually do. Everything else — including your skills — is yours to edit anytime. If you genuinely need a different category, reach out through our /contact page and we will reset it for you.
